Admin history: The Evidence Committee on Remuneration of Consultants and Specialists was a special committee composed of members of the Consultant Services Subcommittee of the Consultant Services (Beveridge) Committee, together with the Hosptial and Specialist Services Subcommittee of the Negotiating Committee. It was set up to provide evidence to the Spens Committee, which had been set up by the government to consider the range of remuneration that should ve given to consultants and specialists in the National Health Service.
